The winners of the new artist categories at the upcoming ACM Awards have been revealed, with Lauren Alaina, Midland, and Brett Young being named New Female Vocalist of the Year, New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, and New Male Vocalist of the Year, respectively. Putting a cherry on top of the exciting news, the three acts actually found out about their wins during a surprise phone call from ACM Awards host Reba over the weekend. In addition, Lauren, Midland and Brett will all perform on the upcoming ACM Awards, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15.
