Chris Janson has released the music video for "Drunk Girl," giving fans a visual glimpse into the song's powerful message. The video features shots of Janson playing a baby grand piano in the middle of an empty Lower Broadway street in Nashville, while also following the storyline a drunken woman who leaves a bar with her date. That narrative is then interspersed with flashbacks of the woman growing up in an abusive home and later of her going through college. While the neon signs were all lit during the Lower Broadway piano scene, the typically bustling honky tonks were actually completely deserted as Chris played. According to People, the videographer Jeff Venable had to get permission from the city Nashville, as well as cooperation from all of Lower Broadway's businesses, to secure the shot in the wee hours of the morning. It was estimated that Chris sang the song about 25 times, from 2 AM to sunrise.
