Carrie Underwood sent a letter to her fan club members on Tuesday (4/10), sharing details about her new music as well as how she's recovered since breaking her wrist and injuring her face last November. Carrie says, physically, she's "doing pretty darn good these days" and writes that her wrist is "about 90 percent" back to normal. As for her facial injury, which required multiple stitches, Carrie says that's been "healing pretty nicely as well."As for the new music, Underwood is currently working on her sixth studio album will release her brand-new single, "Cry Pretty," on Wednesday (4/11) at 6 AM ET. Carrie says the song's title refers to "when emotions take over and you just can't hold them back" and it "really speaks to a lot of things that have happened in the past year." Underwood also says she's been in the studio "writing and singing a TON" over the past few months and has been co-producing her new album with David Garcia. Carrie will perform "Cry Pretty" at the ACM Awards on Sunday (4/15).
