During a show in Valley Center, California, on Saturday (1/6), Willie Nelson was forced to cut his set short right after he started performing. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Willie had just started singing his first song of the night, "Whiskey River," when he started coughing and experiencing some sort of breathing problems. Nelson's publicist later informed the publication that the 84-year-old singer had either "a bad cold or the flu" and was recuperating at his home in Texas. The publicist also informed the publication that Willie's concerts for the rest of the week have been canceled, including a show in Rohnert, Park, California, on Wednesday (1/10), two stops in Las Vegas on Friday (1/12) and Saturday (1/13) and a show in Laughlin, Nevada, on Sunday (1/14).
