Aldean's Tom Petty Cover to Benefit Vegas Victims

Less than a week after the tragic Las Vegas shooting, Jason Aldean appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL) to deliver a message of unity and perform a cover of Tom Petty’s "I Won't Back Town." It was a powerful moment that seemed to embody the resiliency of the country music community following the tragedy and also showed that the path towards healing would be forged together. Aldean's cover of "I Won't Back Town" from SNL has now been released on digital retailers and streaming services, with all proceeds from the song going towards the Direct Impact Fund to benefit victims of the shooting.

Aldean’s heartfelt version of the tune can be found here:

Fans can also help support the shooting victims by purchasing a custom printed "We Won’t Back Down" t-shirt on Jason's website or by texting VEGAS to 91999 to donate.
