Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were in Atlanta on Thursday (10/12) to christen the Mercedes-Benz Stadium with its first-ever concert. Despite widespread reports of audio issues in the new stadium, the night actually turned out to be pretty special with an appearance by former President Jimmy Carter. The 93-year-old Georgia native got a warm welcome from the more 70,000 fans in attendance as he took the stage to present Yearwood with a proclamation for years of supporting Habitat for Humanity, an organization which he's been involved with for decades. Yearwood -- a Georgia native herself -- then launched into the state's official song, "Georgia on My Mind."
