Darci Lynn Farmer, 12, is “America’s Got Talent” winner of Season 12. The ventriloquist was declared the winner over second place Angelica Hale, who is 10.
Farmer’s two brothers rushed onstage to congratulate her after her name was announced. The winner admitted there were a few tears of joy after her name was called.
“My feelings were all bottled up inside because I felt so loved on my ‘America’s Got Talent’ journey,” she said.
Each winner receives one million dollars and the opportunity to headline a Las Vegas show. Farmer plans to spend her winnings on appliances for her mother, and a puppy. She says it wil probably be a pug.
There will be an “America’s Got Talent” live show on November 3-4 in Las Vegas. Hale will joi Farmer for that event.
