The Flying W Airport and Resort where Montgomery Gentry's Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash on Friday (9/8) is speaking out about the tragic day. In a message posted on their website, Flying W said that Friday started out with a lot of excitement when the duo arrived by tour bus to perform at their concert venue. The message says, "The nicest people got off the bus and joined us on the ramp for what we hoped would be the best concert we have ever had." But, instead, they note that the day turned to tragedy when a helicopter accident took the lives of Gentry and the pilot. And like so many people out there, the airport's employees are still reeling from the tragic loss. They say, "No words can describe the sadness that the Flying W employees feel for the families."
