Could Luke Bryan be the next judge on American Idol? According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources say that Bryan's name is on a short list of potential judges for show's upcoming reboot on ABC. The short list also reportedly includes singers Lionel Richie and Charlie Puth, although negotiations have yet to begin with anyone. So far, pop star Katy Perry is the only judge confirmed for the American Idol reboot, with host Ryan Seacrest also recently joining the show.
· The judging panel will have to be filled pretty quickly though, as auditions for the show are scheduled to start on August 17 in Orlando, Florida, and Portland, Oregon.
