American Idol might be making a comeback next year, but on a new network. That's according to a report from TMZ, which claims that the singing competition seems to be headed to ABC for a March 2018 launch. The publication says ABC made the offer a week ago, asking the show's owners if it could be moved to New York City so Ryan Seacrest could resume his hosting duties. But that offer was turned down, so the show will continue out of Hollywood.
