BLAKE SHELTON GRANTS LITTLE GIRL'S FINAL WISH
On Wednesday (3/15), Blake Shelton sent prayers to a 6-year-old girl named Brooke Haire after she performed his song "Savior's Shadow" ahead of her surgery this week. Brooke really wanted Blake to see the video of her performance, and her wish came true, with Shelton even sending her a sweet message on Facebook. Shelton wrote, "Brooke you are an angel!! I'm honored you sang my song.. We are all keeping you in our prayers." Sadly, Haire will never have a chance to see Blake's message, as she was declared legally brain dead after complications from her surgery on Monday (3/13).
· Brooke suffered a traumatic brain injury when her family was involved in a serious car accident in October of 2014. Brooke's 8-month-old sister, Audrey, also suffered a serious brain injury in the crash and passed away hours later at the hospital.
· A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help the Haire family with funeral expenses.
