The Michigan Senator acknowledged the rumor on Wednesday, saying on Twitter, “I know we both share a love of music. I concede he’s better at playing guitar and I’ll keep doing what I do best: fighting for Michigan.”
The Kid Rock for Senate website was the first hint that Rock s entering politics, but most dismissed it as a stunt until the “All Summer Long” singer took to Twitter to say it’s real. He stopped short of confirming a run for senator. Reuters reports that two of Kid Rock’s representatives would only point them back to his statements on social media.
