Maddie & Tae's new music video for "Bathroom Floor" has been released. The country duo's Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye bring the lyrics of the heartbreak anthem to life.
In the clip "Maddie & Tae's Repair Service," which includes Marlow and Dye, helps several heartbroken girls up off the bathroom floor. After a little freshening up, the girls all hit the town for a fun night out to help them move on from their ex.
"This video brings the song to life in a really unique way," Maddie shared in a recent interview. "The heartbreak repair service really made it so fun and was a dramatic take on what we do for our girlfriends when they have their hearts broken."
Taylor adds, "The song displays so much empowerment and sisterhood and the video just highlights that even more. We ladies need to lift each other up and remind each other of our worth!"
The full video can be seen here.
"Bathroom Floor" is one of the 15 tracks included on Maddie & Tae's upcoming second studio album, The Way It Feels. The new record, due out April 10, follows up the duo's first full length debut album from 2015, Start Here.
"It has been four years since we’ve released an album," Marlow said in a statement. "For us, this is a lot more than just an album release. This sophomore album will always be a reminder that no matter the setbacks and struggles, we will come out stronger and better. We are so proud of this 15-song story. We wrote these songs during the most vulnerable times and our hope is that people hear that and connect."
"These songs will always represent something so beautiful and spiritual to us," adds Dye, "And hopefully, it will represent something similar to people who listen."
To promote their new album, Maddie & Tae will embark on their headlining "Tourist In This Town Tour." Tickets for the tour are available now. In between their headlining dates, Maddie & Tae will join Lady Antebellum as a supporting act on their 2020 "Ocean Tour" this summer.
