Kacey Musgraves Shows Off Detention Slips In Hall Of Fame Exhibit

Kacey Musgraves has been known to sling back some tequila, smoke a little smoke, and swear on stage. Now, she’s showing all of her colors in her new exhibit that is set to open at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on July 2nd.

‘All Of The Colors’ traces the life of Kacey from her days of detention for “continuous classroom disruption,” to her first tip jar used as she made her rounds playing inside of Texas bars, to the manuscript for “Slow Burn” from her Grammy-award winning album, ‘Golden Hour.’

“I absolutely adore the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” shared Kacey in a press statement. “It’s a privilege to have them curate an exhibit that will showcase pieces from moments all the way back to my childhood that are very special to me.”

Kacey will open her exhibit on July 2 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville. To mark the occasion, the “High Horse” singer will appear for a discussion at the Hall's CMA Theater on July 6, starting at 2 p.m.

Tickets for Kacey’s conversation and grand opening ceremony go on sale Wednesday, May 29.
