Blake Shelton spoke recently with Access Hollywood about the upcoming seventh season of The Voice and he plans to win. He said, "I mean, let's not beat around the bush. I am looking forward to mopping the floor with the other three coaches’ asses. I do want to win real damn bad. I thought there after season 4 – I had won three seasons in a row – we thought that I had them all from there on out. And then it was OK with me that Adam won… that was his last one by the way! I don’t know if you read the script or not, but that’s how it’s gonna be." Shelton also talked about brand new judge Pharrell Williams. He said, "Pharrell has talked some people of the ledge several times during these blind auditions. I mean, people who are upset, they didn’t make it – he knows the exact right thing to say to people to make them feel. People will walk off that stage, not even having made the show, and feeling like they won."
Chris Young has done it again, for the sixth time in his career to be exact, as his single, "Who I Am With You," sits atop the Mediabase Country Singles Chart, it has been certified Gold, and he’s spending the summer doing what he loves most, on the road performing for the fans. Chris says, "Yeah, I’m pretty happy right now. Everybody is looking for that one person who lets them be themselves and, whether we want to admit it or not, pushes us to be a better person,” said Chris. “This song couldn’t say it any better and I’m glad I got to be the person to sing it." In addition to topping the charts, Young’s "Who I Am With You" claimed the #1 spot in Rolling Stone’s poll of Best Country Songs of 2014. "Who I Am With You," is the second single from his current album A.M.
