Miranda Lambert announced her Crystal Light Presents "Platinum Tour" kicking off in Fort Loramie, Ohio on July 10. Lambert says, "Platinum represents a lifestyle for me. It's the color of my hair, my wedding ring, my airstream trailer, so it's just a natural fit for the name of my new album and it’s why we decided to name the tour Platinum too." Miranda will take along Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett on the tour that comes after her upcoming album Platinum, will be released June 3. The 30 city coast-to-coast tour includes two Canadian shows and wraps September 20 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Blake Shelton will be the new spokesperson for Pizza Hut and is the face of the pizza chain’s new line of barbecue pies. Shelton is a lover of Pizza Hut as back to 2010, he asked for a large pizza to be delivered to his bus after every show. Blake says, "My tour manager always says, ‘What do you want?’ And I always ask for stuffed crust pizza. You don’t even have to put a topping on it. When we have a long flight somewhere, I always bring it." Blake is helping Pizza Hut roll out their new line of barbecue pizzas, which include chicken barbecue, Hawaiian barbecue, and Shelton’s favorite, smokehouse barbecue. He says, "I actually built a barbecue smoke house like old times. It’s an actual house with a door on it to smoke things."
Taylor Swift visited with one of her biggest fans last week named Khloe, who is five years old and fighting cancer in a Los Angeles hospital. It all began when Khloe’s aunt started a Facebook page for the little girl, calling it "Stay Fearless Khloe," inspired by Swift’s sophomore album, Fearless. After Swift's visit, Khloe's family posted, "Her reaction when Taylor walked in will FOREVER be one of our favorite moments in life." Taylor and Khloe posed for lots of photos and even held up a sign for the photo that read, "Today I broke up with my tumor and we are never, ever getting back together, like ever!"
